24 Hours Services

Ambulance services on stand-by to answer emergency calls. It is air-conditioned and is equipped with resuscitative items and other necessary equipments. The treatment of acutely ill or injured patient is carried out by trained doctors and emergency nurses. Ambulance will also provide transportation services for inpatients and outpatients.

 

Polyclinic and A&E department is open 24 hours, 365 days a year managed by PMC in house medical officers round the clock and provide the following services

Accident and Emergency department of PMC has :

 

A Triage Room – when large number of patients arrive at the same time, patient with medical priorities are treated first.

3 Bedded Resuscitation Bay – patients with life-threatening problems are stabilized in this area by team of specialist doctors and nurses.Resuscitation room is fully equipped with monitors, defibrillators and ventilator.

3 Beds High-Dependency Unit – This is the transit area to treat the patients till they are stabilized enough to be shifted to assigned ward, ICU or go home.

Back-up Support – The emergency department is backed up by 24 hours Blood Bank, Biochemistry labs, Diagnostic imaging facilities and exclusive emergency Operation Theatre.

Team of consultants are available round the clock to treat all types of emergencies.
